Hamish Howe founded FINN Environmental in 2021 out of a genuine passion for the natural environment and a desire to create practical solutions that balance development with environmental outcomes. ​

After graduating UTAS in 2012 with Bachelor of Antarctic Science, he gained experience across the industry in both forestry and environmental spheres, and it was here that he saw the opportunity to start his own business.​

FINN Environmental has grown steadily with clients across Tasmania, thanks to Hamish remaining closely involved in every project, and the support of dedicated, experienced staff. ​

Hamish remains focused on delivering reliable, practical outcomes and supporting his team to do their best work, while always keeping the environment at the centre of everything they do.​​

Outside of work, Hamish likes riding bikes, gardening, experimenting in the kitchen (mostly successfully) and travelling. ​
